Accountants at SaskTel provide accurate financial information relating to the Corporation, including financial, regulatory and legislative reporting. Accountants ensure effective controls are in place and maintained in order to protect the integrity of financial data. Accountant positions are located in Regina at SaskTel’s Head Office location.
Requirements:
The educational requirements to become an Accountant include a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) OR a University Degree with eligibility to either enter the CMA strategic leadership program or write the national CMA entrance exam or completion of FA4 (Financial Accounting 4) of the CGA Professional Program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to deal effectively with others. They must have excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Additionally, the ability to plan, organize and manage complex projects in a self-directed environment is required.
