My career with SaskTel started in August of 2000 and I am very proud to say that I work here. I have had the chance to work within a few different areas starting with Direct Sales where I was able to learn about our customers. My next move was to the Employee Development Centre where I was able to learn a lot about training and adult learning. I have been in my current position as a Human Resource Manager in Staffing since October of 2004 and I really enjoy the role. I am responsible for the internal and external recruiting for our Consumer Sales and Corporate Communications departments. It is nice that I can be involved in areas that I am very interested in and I can honestly say that I enjoy coming to work every single day!
SaskTel has been a welcoming place to work from day one and it really feels like a comfortable, teaming environment. My manager gives me the flexibility to balance work life and home life and is very supportive of my career development. The work is challenging and interesting and I feel that there is a lot of recognition for the hard work that we do.
There are numerous benefits to working here and SaskTel is a huge contributor to the well being of, not only myself, but my entire family. I hope that I can stay with SaskTel for my whole career.
