SaskTel to upgrade platform for an improved Max experience

SaskTel today announced a platform upgrade for Max™ Entertainment Services that will deliver new features and an improved customer experience. Powered by Microsoft Mediaroom, the upgraded Max service will initially be available to new Max customers starting September 13, with delivery to existing Max customers beginning in October.

Today employees from SaskTel, Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region and the City of Regina, along with volunteers from the University of Saskatchewan School of Nursing and local high schools, will gather at a City of Regina warehouse to fill a 40-foot shipping container with medical equipment and supplies, donated teddy bears, baby care supplies, maternity clothing, refurbished bikes and other items. SaskTel and the Region will share the cost of renting and shipping the container to Arusha, Tanzania where the contents will be used to help build a maternity health care centre.

Saskatchewan’s Largest 3G+ Network Now Available
August 16, 2010
SaskTel today announced the launch of the first phase of its new 3G+ wireless network. Effective immediately, the network will be available to customers in Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Estevan, Yorkton, Swift Current, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Buffalo Pound, White City, Melville, Dalmeny, Martensville, Warman, Hepburn, Waldheim and most of the connecting highways.
