Call Management Features

 Name Display

See the caller's name before you answer the phone.

 Call Display

See the caller's number before you answer the phone.

 Call Waiting

A soft beep will alert you if a second call comes in while you're on the phone. If the incoming call is long distance, you will hear a distinctive beep if you are on the phone, and a distinctive ring if you are not on the phone.

 Visual Call Waiting

See the name and number of an incoming caller while you're on the phone.

 Call Return

Automatically redial a busy number and find out the number of the last incoming caller.

 Call Forward Universal

Transfer all of your calls to another designated phone number or your cellular phone.

 Call Forward Don't Answer

Automatically transfer any call that is not answered within 3 or 4 rings to a pre-determined telephone number.

 Call Forward Busy

Automatically transfer any call to a pre-determined telephone number when the line is busy.

 Call Forward Remote Activation

Activate & deactivate Call Forward Universal, or change the forward-to telephone number from a remote location.

 Call Director

Direct incoming calls: link, drop current caller, play a hold message, play a busy message, forward to Voice Mail, and join a conference call.

 Ident-A-Call

Have up to 3 additional different rings allowing you to know who the call is for before you answer it.

Privacy and Security Features

 Block the Blocker

You can say good-bye to unknown callers. You now have the ability to reject incoming callers that block their name or number from displaying.

 Selective Call Accept

You can pre-program up to 12 numbers that will automatically be accepted by your facsimile, modem or phone line.

 Selective Call Reject

Prevent a caller from harassing you by blocking out their phone number. You can pre-program up to 12 numbers that will automatically be rejected.

 Call Trace

Protects you from unlawful or annoying phone calls.

 Per Call Blocking

Blocks your name and number on a per call basis.

 900 and 976 Blocking

Block outgoing 900 and 976 calls from your telephone that connect you to chargeable live or pre-recorded information such as chat lines, sports scores, or weather forecasts.


Pricing

Three-Way Calling and Call Return are always on your line, so you can use them whenever you want. Only 50¢ per use, to a monthly maximum of $6.00.

They are also available at a monthly subscription rate:
  • $6.00 for your first Calling Feature
  • $4.00 for your second Calling Feature
  • $3.00 for each additional Calling Feature.

A service connection charge of $13.00 will apply. If multiple Calling Features are ordered per session, you will only be charged one service connection charge.

Save money by subscribing to eight features for $17.00 per month by subscribing to the Business Feature Package. No service connection charges will apply to the Business Feature Package.

Availability

  • Most calling features are not available to customers in Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake, Uranium City, or Kinoosao.
  • Three-Way Calling is available to customers in Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake, Uranium City, or Kinoosao on a monthly subscription basis. However Pay Per Use Three-Way Calling is not available in these locations.
  • Call Display is available to customers in Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake, Uranium City, or Kinoosao and is limited to providing Call Display within the same NXX only. Customers in Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake, Uranium City, or Kinoosao receive Call Display for no charge as a result of the limited capability of the feature within their community.
  • Available to customers with TouchTone? network access only.
  • Name Display is available to customers with Call Display service.
  • Call Display, Name Display, Visual Call Waiting, and Call Director are available to customers with a capable phone.
  • Block the Blocker is only available to customers who subscribe to both Call Display and Name Display.
  • Visual Call Waiting is available to customers with Call Display, Name Display, and Call Waiting.
  • Call Forward Remote Activation is available to customers who subscribe to Call Forward Universal. Call Forward Busy and Call Forward Don't Answer are not compatible.
  • Call Director is available to customers with Call Display, Name Display, Call Waiting, and Visual Call Waiting.

Restrictions

  • For Three-Way Calls, any applicable long distance charges apply to the originator of the long distance call.
  • When the originator of the Three-Way Call hangs up, all parties are disconnected.
  • When adding Calling Features to Multi-line customers, the feature must be added to each line.
  • Some numbers cannot be provided by Last Call Return (i.e., blocked calls, payphone calls, cellular calls).
  • The default setting for business customers is to block the Busy Call Return announcement.
  • Some technical limitations apply to Block-the Blocker.
  • Some restrictions apply to the numbers that can be entered into the Selective Call Accept and Selective Call Reject lists.
  • Visual Call Waiting/Call Director displays the first call only. Screen will not refresh and update if second 'Visual Call Waiting' call occurs in the same call.
  • Applicable long distance charges apply when forwarding the phone to a long distance number.
  • The Call Forward Don?t Answer/Call Forward Busy number must be specified at the time the service is requested. A service charge will be incurred each time this number is changed.
  • With Call Forward Don?t Answer/Call Forward Busy, customers can request to have more than one call forwarded simultaneously. If this is a subsequent programming change, there will be a service connection charge.
  • For Multi-Line customers with hunting trunks, Call Forward Don't Answer /Call Forward Busy can only be added to the main telephone number of the hunting group.
  • Call Forward Remote Activation PIN resets are available for a $13.00 service connection charge.
  • While using Intercom, no incoming calls or Call Waiting tones (requires subscription to Call Waiting) will be received.
  • After subscribing to Call Director, call 1-888-811-1117 toll free to activate the feature.
