With Text Messaging service, you can:

Pay Per Use
Pay per use text messaging is 20¢ per sent message.
There are no roaming, airtime, or long distance charges for either senders or recipients.
The 4G/4G LTE network will send a single typed message as multiple messages if it exceeds 140 characters. Charges associated with your Text Messaging plan will apoply for each message segment.
The above rates applies to text messages sent within Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean to recipients in these locations. International text messages and third-party short codes are not included and additional charges will apply. See the Short codes and International text messaging tabs for details.
A short code is a short phone number used for text messaging. They are usually 5 to 6 digits and used for things such as voting, daily horoscopes, jokes, and even social media updates for applications like Facebook and Twitter.
When you sign up for a short code program, you'll receive related text messages on your wireless phone.

To receive free alerts on SaskTel downloads, contests, and promotions, text the word MOBILE to 43210. To unsubscribe at anytime text STOP to the same short code.

Texting to international wireless numbers
If you send a message from any location within or outside Canada to an international wireless number (international numbers are those numbers outside Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean), you'll be charged 20¢ per sent message in addition to regular text messaging rates.
Text messages you receive from international wireless numbers are free.
Texting from international locations
When you send a text message while roaming internationally (outside Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean), you will be charged 65¢ for each text message sent in addition to your regular text messaging charges.
