SecurTek and Unifor ratify agreement

April 25, 2024

SecurTek and Unifor have reached a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for 2023-24.

“We’re pleased that SecurTek and the members of Unifor have ratified this agreement after working together, demonstrating that the best agreements are reached at the bargaining table,” said Dustin Duncan, Minister responsible for SaskTel.

Unifor and SaskTel’s SecurTek employees ratified the new one-year CBA on April 24, 2024 and it is retroactive to March 19, 2023, with a general wage increase of 3% for the period ending March 17, 2024.

“We appreciate the hard work both parties put into reaching this agreement, one that works well for both SecurTek and for Unifor members,” said Shara McCormick, SaskTel Vice-President of Human Resources & Corporate Services.
