Diversity and Inclusion at SaskTel

At SaskTel, we embrace the power of diversity and value the unique contributions each individual brings to our team. Being part of our company means you'll thrive in an inclusive environment that not only accepts people's differences but also values and leverages their uniqueness.
We're incredibly proud to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers for many years and committed to celebrating and promoting diversity and inclusion within our company as well as throughout the province we serve.
Our Employee Network Groups
We celebrate and promote diversity through a variety of SaskTel employee networks and groups, which provide support to our employees and share valuable knowledge and insights across the company and our communities.
SaskTel Indigenous Employees Network
SaskTel Indigenous Employees Network (SIEN) is the longest-running employee network among the Saskatchewan Crown corporations, and it continues its mission to foster a workplace that values and supports Indigenous employees.
SIEN makes a positive impact at SaskTel and increases our collective understanding of Indigenous culture through various initiatives such as virtual book club, cultural teachings, cultural events, and the Greeting Card Program in which Indigenous students from partner schools participate in an annual art contest. SaskTel Employee Rainbow Alliance
The mission of SaskTel Employee Rainbow Alliance (SERA) is to promote acceptance and inclusivity as well as a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all 2SLGBTQI+ employees through alliance and advocacy for positive change and a shared vision for social equality.
By seeking and sharing knowledge and understanding, we can create a culture that cares for and respects the physical and mental wellbeing of others, acknowledging everyone's unique path and experiences in life, which helps build a community that values diversity and promotes mutual respect.

SaskTel Employee Network on Disability
The SaskTel Employee Network on Disability (SEND) upholds the principles of equality, empathy, and encouragement. It provides a safe space for individuals to share their lived experiences, whether they directly experience disability or are impacted by it.
SEND members advocate for the representation, value, and respect of people who experience disability across SaskTel. Their mission is to support all employees with visible or non-visible disabilities and to serve as a resource for SaskTel, as we continue to strengthen our commitment to implementing inclusive programs, products, and services that meet the needs of our customers and employees. They also champion events such as the SaskTel Challenge Cup, which raises funds for the Adaptive Alpine Ski Program.

Supported Employment Program
We believe in the meaningful contributions of all individuals. That's why we created the Supported Employment Program (SEP) to develop employment opportunities for candidates with cognitive disabilities.
SEP connects SaskTel with individuals through community-based organizations that promote the employment of people who experience disability and provide job coaching support as they integrate into the workplace. We work closely with each individual and their support network to identify their skill set and find areas within our organization that can benefit from their talents.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
We're passionate about making our products and services accessible to all SaskTel employees and customers. Visit SaskTel Accessibility to learn more.
