Call Waiting
On the phone and concerned about missing a call?
With Call Waiting, a soft beep will alert you if a second call comes in while you're on the phone. If the incoming call is long distance, you will hear a distinctive beep if you are on the phone, and a distinctive ring if you are not on the phone. This way, important phone calls, like long distance calls, will not be missed.
Call Waiting can also be deactivated on a per call basis if you like. See How to use Call Waiting for instructions. Perfect for those times when you are sending a fax or talking to family long distance and you don't want to have another caller interrupt you.
