Ritu Malhotra

President and CEO of March Consulting Associates Inc., Ritu is an accomplished business leader with decades of experience in engineering, technology, and board governance. Specializing in capital project governance, she spearheads major initiatives in mining, clean energy, and Indigenous infrastructure. March, a Saskatchewan-based multi-discipline engineering consulting firm, is majority employee-owned, with 25 percent ownership held by Kitsaki Management Limited Partnership, representing the Lac La Ronge Indian Band in Saskatchewan.

An active volunteer in the community and the engineering profession, Ritu is the Chair of Saskatchewan Industrial & Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA) and serves on other industry and community association Boards. She also served on the University of Saskatchewan Board of Governors from 2017 to 2023 as the chair of the Land and Facilities committee, providing leadership for capital projects and land development.

Ritu has a Bachelors’ and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) in several jurisdictions. She also holds the Professional Director (Pro.Dir.) designation. Ritu was recognized as the Engineer of the Year by Saskatoon Engineering Society in 2020, the YWCA Women of Distinction Award in 2022, and the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2023 for her contributions to Saskatchewan’s business commuity.
